Today was the end of a good weekend.

Called Jascarine to see how 'the kids' were doing. Simba as adapted and adopted his new home and humans so well, that he is already sitting in laps. But a sorta good thing about 'the kids' being re-homed... I can finally vacuum the lounge room, as both Ziggy and Loki can run out when the dreaded machine starts its noise!

Of course, re-shelving everything Ziggy knocked off the shelves is a lesson in futility, but it looked tidy for 10 minutes.

Well more like clear the gutters, put a sheet over my just starting to flower and fruit lime tree, ahead of tomorrow's predicted heavy weather. Every year we get an hellacious storm just as my fruit trees are in their first full flower of the season. This year, I'm hoping to have more than one crop ( Read more... )

Alison and Peter came over to check Simba and Lucy's rehab progress and has given two thumbs up on their being adopted. Also showed photograph of Simba when we first got him

We have found Simba and Lucy's forever home. J & C are wonderful cat persons, and have already started gettting cat supplies (tower, heated pet bed, deep deep litterbox), researching CatMax Enclosures. We might have a great candidate for Lucy and Simba's new forever home.

This couple have had Bengals before. They lost their Bengal 2 years ago and are looking to adopt again. They know what Bengals are like, how energetic they are, how they can be destructive if bored. They also know Simba and Lucy's history, including all the umm 'toileting' ( Read more... )

I think we have gotten them to their 'wellest'. Haven't had any 'improper toileting' issues with them, and they are both in top condition now. Simba has not only recovered his health, but he has grown. I have a feeling his reaching adult size was delayed due to poor nutrition from his previous home ( Read more... )

Now that Simba has learned what a bed is for, he has decided that snugging up with the other boys (Loki is the one using Keito's rump for a pillow) on a cold night is a good idea.
